I continue to be fascinated about what happened to Bob Stoops. This is a guy that was one of the highest paid coaches in the entire fucking world and could have kept his job for a couple more decades.

Instead he walks away suddenly and not long after he is hawking cheap tequila at local liquor stores and then taking a job with the WWE football league. Then a short stint on Fox followed by wasting his time and reputation making Cameos.

the answer is simple.

there is one person on the planet who doesn’t see it. And it’s more likely that he doesn’t care.

Unfortunately at this juncture it seems the more likely outcome is Kirk digs in his heels and the new Oline coach becomes the sacrificial lamb even though he inherited a bunch of attrition and apparent recruiting whiffs (line is still “young”
I guess but whatever). We really don’t know how good or bad he is IMO.
