Why is the strength coach working out a non-player during practice?

This is extremely common at the D1 level and super annoying. Usually NFL guys or guys still trying to make it. Kind of like Lolo Jones still going back to LSU to workout at the age of 40.

- You know that you and the offense in general suck.
- Fans have begun to hate you, as you are the embodiment of what they dislike about Team Ferentz
- You are being booed like no other Iowa player has ever been
- Sportswriters are openly calling for you to be benched

Padilla:
- You have heard the coaches state that you offer no upside from the current dismal play at QB
- You can see that nothing will get you into a game other than a Petras injury. At this point you cannot do enough in practice, and Petras cannot suck badly enough, for there to be a change.
- You have to believe that you have no chance to be the starting QB next year, as the coaches have so little faith in you that you cannot earn PT over the shitty QB leading the worst offense in America.

I guarantee Spencer has a “highlight” reel spliced together of his handful of on-target, on-time deep post or seam throws over his 3 year career. The ones that happen about 1 out of 60 pass attempts where everyone looks at each other and thinks where the fuck did that come from? He also has the pad-less bomb from the Manning Camp at the end. It’s definitely not a long video but he enjoys it. Watches multiple times a day and has this reaction each time.
