Some of you folks need to chill the fuck out. Kirk almost always tries to keep things professional (especially when publicly speaking). I think it’s quite clear he knows that the offense needs an overhaul, but he is not going to come out and shit all over the offensive staff. The man is stoic and approaches adversity like we all should: calm, cool, and collected.

New Kirk or Portal Kirk is just another name for Motivated Kirk. He knows he has about 5 years left on the odometer and wants to prove it one more time that he still has it.

It’s not quite clear. Maybe he does know that, but so far his actual words and action do not support that at all.

It will be clear he understands it when he does something about it.

I also think he's been less than professional this year with his snarky, gaslighting approach. Kirk deserves the opportunity to fix this, but he's also the person who allowed the offense to atrophy over the past several years.

There are times when Kirk appears to be calm, cool, and collected when in actuality, he's in a gum-chomping stupor. It's easy to confuse the two sometimes. Best way to tell is if Iowa is losing with time winding down and they're still huddling.

They just landed the biggest QB in the transfer portal (who Alabama, Notre Dame, and Michigan State were also after).

You're not going to get a kid of that caliber to commit to bumfuck Iowa by saying, "Cade, we don't see any issues with our offense, and I don't plan or anticipate making any program changes this offseason."

Because we're talking Kirk here, there's also the possibility that Iowa's anemic offense was blamed on poor execution and shitty players and not the greasy fuck calling the plays. Maybe Cade is the key to unlocking Brian's amazing offense!

Well, aside from Kaleb and Cooper that pretty much clears out the little bit of dynamic athleticism remaining.

X is gonna stay right, right?!?!
I would expect that he'll be a part of the package with Proctor, wherever he ends up.

I can tell you, I really appreciated his time here. It was fun watching him return kickoffs and punts, at least.

Oh, wait, that was the dynamic duo of Bruce and Gavin that handled those duties.

Is Cade with the injury really the top portal QB in America? Seems hyperbolic. He’s only a savior if surrounded by well above average talent, imo.

Certainly an upgrade for iowa but I don’t remember ever thinking he was a difference maker

I don’t know Cade, his personal situation, or his motivation to come here. Neither do you. You are hoping that what you typed is true, but you don’t know. So again, it’s not clear. It will be clear when actual change is made.

Furthermore, you could look at some of the players leaving one of the best defenses in the USA and ask yourself why they would leave such a dominating unit if they believed real changes were coming to the offense and the team has a shot at a I am a giant douche title

Roberts was at Iowa for five years already. I don’t understand all the doom and gloom because of this announcement. He hasn’t stayed healthy the last two seasons. Hard to fault a 6th year guy looking for a portal pay day that he likely won’t get in the NFL.

No shit. IowaFan is collectively losing their minds.

There is only one transfer that has remotely hurt so far, and that is Jacobs.

He's a great corner and special teams player. If he is going to keep playing college football, I'd like it most if it was at Iowa.

I hope he gets paid the same way I hope Jacobs does.

LOL, that's it for you Daddio? Terry Roberts is what kept the dream alive for a dynamic team next year?

One of my favorite Doug moves is when he refers to people as IowaFan.

We really need a Doug bingo grid.

We have the bends. Going from getting 4* Alabama transfer to losing proven players/starters, yeah, you’re going to see some negative reactions.
