I'd just take our offense not fumbling 3 times a game!Man would it be fucking awesome if it evened back out though.

Phillips got his chance bc of Williams fumbles last week. Then he decided to fumble late. Williams also caught a check down and took a shot to the upper leg then limped off so guessing they were being cautious with him.I wasn't able to watch the game and only saw the 15 minute highlights, but was curious on a few items:
-How did Phillips become the guy at RB in this game? Believe I saw Williams with a catch and that was about the only mention after being the guy against Wisconsin.
-Holy shit our guys are fumbling like crazy. Um, why?
-That Drew Campbell call kind of looked like bullshit, was it legit?
-Appeared Iowa was getting a lot of pressure on defense, was it just a shifty QB who was great at escaping several sacks?
I saw that, but appeared to be real close on a dozen more. Just constant pressure on him, which is promisingWe still got 6 sacks
Teams don't need to be as risky on offense when we shut it down ourselves after 2 touchdownsI can't tell if it is just the natural swing of things where Iowa is in the portion of it where they are giving more than taking and it will even back out soon or if there is more.
While there were a couple times tonight where they could have intercepted the ball, mostly it seems like every team just doesn't make dangerous throws against Iowa. This defensive system has been around for so long with so much film on them that maybe other teams are scouting out no-risk throws.
Would agree - That was a pretty great place for a November game.
Sounds like you should get some season tickets with my man @KitKatApplesFor ballers like @Mr. Hawk, the J.P. Morgan Club and the Northwestern Club rival the 1914 Club at Wrigley. Not many college stadiums can compete given how old they are. The outdoor terrace has fire pits. Looks like an upscale hotel. Good buffets, top shelf bars, comfortable seating, etc.
It lacks the energy of a typical BT stadium but for old fucks like me who enjoy comfort, it’s awesome. It’s also a 15 minute walk from my house.
He just needs to be on the field more, flat out. Pretty easy to key on him when he comes in for "his " plays.Tim Lester has got to figure out how to get Jackson in space 3-4 times per game. His current attempts at it are terrible. Give him a shot to get the edge on the defense and he's going to break huge gains.

Agreed. Kid has had a shitty week with everything but he got a sack and was ejected for 2 minutes. He tilted his head down so the crown hit the QB in the face. I’m sure he just let his emotions get the better of him and the punishment was pretty minor overall.Even though it sucks, I think the targeting on Campbell was the right call. Not saying it was intentional by any means but compared to what I’ve seen in the past called it looked like targeting to me.
For starters I don't see why he can't replace Evans at PR.Tim Lester has got to figure out how to get Jackson in space 3-4 times per game. His current attempts at it are terrible. Give him a shot to get the edge on the defense and he's going to break huge gains.
