Thelwell, Dix, Old Fart, Traore, Freeman is your best lineup. Just do it now Fran. Harding, Young Fart, Koch, and Dembele is a fine bench as long as he doesn’t hockey sub them at the under 12 timeout.

Dembele is not a bad piece. He can shoot and can bang. Had 11/7 tonight.

He doesn't fit with Freeman. Too many mid range jumpers. He also struggles with size on the boards and quickness away from the basket which isn't as exposed against the South Dakotas of the world. He's fine but this team has a much higher ceiling if Troare/Koch/Sandfart can figure out a way to play PF and not get destroyed on the boards.

Agreed. I've joked the last few games without really watching much of them, but tonight was the first full game I've truly watched.

Fran is insane. It was immediately obvious what the rotation should be and he should figure it out himself now instead of 2 months from now like he usually does.

Thelwell, Dix, Fartman, Traore and Freeman are no question the best 5 starters. Dembele, Lil' Fartman, Harding and Koch. Nobody else plays unless it's a blowout or emergency foul trouble.

I think that Koch will be one of their Top 7 players by the end of the year and pass Dembele. I'm not a fan of Harding at all, he's a spaz, plays no defense, undersized and can't shoot. Let him start in Moline next game and then move him to the fucking bench.

Kingsbury should never, ever play in the first half of a game or before the last few minutes of a game in a blowout.

I’m not necessarily down on Harding. He breaks the press with ease and his shot appears to be improved. But it seems every time he passes the ball he’s looking to make a spectacular. And he’s just tiny on defense. He can get away with it against the teams they’ve played so far.

The last two games Thelwell has played 50 minutes, Harding played 37.
I think he was behind him this summer as he was struggling to pick things up but he’s playing well and should only get more comfortable with the motion the more he plays with these guys.

Thelwell is very clearly the better option at PG. Harding should play, but less than he has. Thelwell is smarter with the ball. I think if had the games been closer we’d have seen more Harding. I imagine it will take Fran too long to figure that out entirely but it appears he may be on the way to making that discovery.
