Yep, playing it conservative in the second half to preserve the lead was a recipe for disaster, especially with USC playing inspired ball after the break. Fry used to say, "Dance with the one who brung ya." Well, unfortunately Kurt decided to change partners in the second half.

Fwiw, our four losses have now been by a total of 15 points.

Coliseum was awesome and like Mr hawk said the USC fans were nice and sociable when they weren’t taking selfies or videos. Glad I was in club to get out of rain though.

I don't think they got too conservative, just not a great offense and USC was playing with more intensity in the second half.

Just tough to be a great offense when passing is so difficult for a Kirk coached team

One of the local channels was analyzing after the game, they did show a difference in how USC was handling the run in the 2nd half and it ended up being effective.

Also, the rain stopped for 3rd quarter, which definitely helped the passing game - that and #6 being able to catch everything.
