I caught a little bit of their game with Davidson today. They've got a couple old guys (PG - 5th year, C - 6th year). Leading scorer is one of their forwards, but they didn't look especially big or quick or anything.

Yup. Same team as shea rush and jeriah Horne. Watched them many times. Wish Fran would have taken a look at Gilyard. He was a year younger than the other two but I thought he was the best of the bunch. Great kid too

iowa shouldn’t have a problem but if they make lazy passes at the top he will get a hand on them. I’ve watched them play a few times this year. They play hard but Iowa shouldn’t have a problem. They do struggle to score for long stretches and then seem to score in bunches off TOs

Richmond plays with a lot of heart. And I don't mean that in a white boy cliche way as they are plenty athletic, but they really hustle and play hard for one another. Veteran team, as well.

Little Gilyard is their best player despite the stats, and him and their headband white center Golden lead the team.

Throw in their wing Burton, and they are really a team with 3 studs and a bunch of role players.

Gilyard is lightning quick and 2nd in the NCAA in mpg (38.4). Going to be an important game for Toussaint and Perkins to limit him.

Our offense should roll. They are pretty soft in the middle, and we are WAY more athletic in the front court. Murrays should have a field day

Probably a lot of teams like this but Richmond I think has 4 starters who are 5th or 6th year seniors (and not transfers). Other guy who looks to be their best player is a Junior.

I'm sure Rebraca is looking forward to finally getting some mid major bigs.

If Richmond plays really well, they might be able to keep it within 10. Iowa will probably be up 20 most this game. They aren’t good offensively or defensively. This is a shitty version of Richmond.

Gilyard will be on Perkins most of the game. Lol at using him to defend JBo.

they do have three guys averaging just shy of 40% from 3 though. They’ll be scrappy and motivated, but Hawks stretch the lead out late

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and suggest that maybe, just maybe, we have someone other than jbo guard him. I think that is within the rules.
