Watching Brian call plays was so confusing. No idea what the plan was. Lester is much improved

It's not even a different blocking scheme though, Iowa is running the same OZ concepts with counter sprinkled in (which they actually started doing more of under BF last season).

They're just so much better at keeping it varied with different tendencies and play-calling.

Kirk knows he looks like a stubborn dumbfuck who pissed the season away, and it gnaws at him mightily, but he’s not going back to Cade because it will make him look like an even bigger stubborn dumbfuck. No, I don't think so. That would have been the most neutral thing for him to say since it was apparent to anyone with eyes. That's all he had to do, but instead of complimenting him on a good 1st half and moving on, he had to find a way to find fault which then ends up being controversial and reinforcing to those who think he is stubborn and a bit arrogant in his ways.
