Apparently the push for KC and UTA is coming from presidents, who think it will be a boost for enrollment.

That’s another part of the appeal of the A10 for Loyola and why SLU was never interested in the MVC - they think the A10 helps them get students that otherwise would be considering other urban Catholic schools from East Coast cities.

Even though they just moved up to D1, I would go after St. Thomas instead. You’re going to have an easier time drawing kids to CF or Bloomington from the MSP area than from the Dallas area. There’s also probably more space for another good sports team there. The Gophers and T-Wolves have never really captured relevance, and the school itself has some decent $.
