The entire Portland State team, coaches included, seemed to be really intent on woofing at the Iowa players all night, even when down big.

Marlon Ruffin for Portland State seemed to be constantly jawing with Iowa players, despite PSU being blown out. At one point—in a real bitch move—he got a technical foul for slapping the ball out of Kris’s hands as Kris was trying to inbound the ball from the baseline.

In the final seconds of the game, with the outcome long over, Ash was holding the ball because Fran told them to not shoot anymore. A PSU kept trying to slap the ball out of Ash’s hands and then got in his face as the buzzer sounded. As the teams were lining up for handshakes, Ruffin started pointing at the Iowa players and screaming. I couldn’t make out what he was saying, but it seemed clear he was just being a dipshit.

The announcers mentioned that PSU’s coach prides himself on his players competing with a lot of emotion, but they just looked like a bunch of loser assholes.
