Agree, losing all league types Williams and Ivey lessens the roster. But it is still a better team this year, they have an identity and cohesiveness now.
Last year Williams and Edey didn't mesh, and Ivey mostly needed the ball. Now they pound it inside and work off it, and Edey is POTY good. For the tournament I'd be concerned about 2 frosh guards though.

Too bad he wasn’t able to focus full time on basketball and, probably more importantly, stay healthy.

He has turned into someone where every time he shoots I think it’s going in.

And lastly, that little hitch he has that gets lane violations has helped him be a 95 percent free throw shooter instead of 75 percent. I laugh every time it happens.

he chose to play two sports at the D1 level which is virtually impossible these days. He’s a great student as well, so mentally he had to be absolutely drained and I think that was reflected in his random illnesses and injuries.

once he got his mind right, which in my view was more about being aggressive on offense, his game totally turned around. It’s like he was so focused on feeding Luka that he forgot he was a 40%+ 3pt shooter in high school. He’s a strong kid who can handle the ball and his play the past year has been more in line with what I expected to see in his career. His vision is next level.

The passing, defense and general redassness were never really a question but Connor deserved everything that was thrown his way when he was a complete zero on offense and teams were not even guarding him.

now that he has dramatically improved in that area for the reasons listed, he is universally liked. It’s ok to change your opinion of him once it’s warranted

Connor is way better defending in the post than he is in space. Teams attack the shit out of him at the wing and in transition, but he does remarkably well in the post against guys way bigger.

Not sure what's funny or stupid about my post, I was not calling anybody out or saying "I told you so". I've always liked his game. His shooting has been a legit gripe over much of his time here but he could have scored zero points Sunday and still been a huge asset to the team. And that has been the case many times in the past. Just happy to see him getting some deserved praise.

And you're crossing a line with that comparison. Please apologize and take some time to reflect and learn.

I would also add he’s about a billion times more involved in the game plan and play design than almost any other college player. He truly does have a coach’s mind. This team would be in deep shit without him
