Iowa is a likely 8-12 point underdog. Texas Tech is #15 in KenPom. Haven't played anyone yet but have blown everyone out.

Top 7 guys are guards and one 6'7'' forward. #29 in offense and #12 and defense. Athletic team. Iowa by comparison is #6 in offense and #125 in defense.

Garza could have a great game if he doesn't bring the ball down. Have to hope Iowa can get points in the paint, hit a lot of threes and that they are off.

KenPoms algorithm hasn’t fully transitioned out the preseason inputs yet, so it’s possible we suck worse than that

Tech probably isn’t as good either. Still a lot of last year in there.

and you aren’t kidding that they haven’t played anyone. All 5 games have been between KenPom ranked 242-300 teams.

That’s about to change with a stretch of Iowa, DePaul, Louisville for them.

I'm going to go all in and say that with the experience last year they surprise and win this Vegas tournament. No reason not to!

By "they," I assume you are talking about Texas Tech?

I mean, at this point they need every single win. If he can help them pull off wins in the ridiculous (by Iowa standards) non-conference so they can hope to run out enough wins in conference to make the NCAA Tournament then I get it.

I've only watched the DePaul game....is he helping them when he's playing?

Sometimes. He hasn't really tried much. I'm guessing he will try a lot harder the next 2 games.

Right, it makes no sense when you're playing a shit team and not getting Toussaint minutes but against tough teams he can contribute if used properly. When Evelyn is your first off guard coming off them bench you're in no position to say we don't need you.

I'll take Bohannon at 60% with the possibility he might hit 3-4 threes than Bakari chucking bricks.

Defense won't matter much in this game. Iowa needs to score and rebound while hoping that Texas Tech is cold.

I am afraid this might get out of hand. Athletic teams that play good defense are McCaffrey's kryptonite. Happy Thanksgiving!

I don’t like betting against the Hawks but that -7.5 sure seems low for TT.

I don't like the Big 12, and I'd prefer we not lose to Big 12 teams.

I don't think Iowa is particularly good, but they are without a doubt a big step up in competition for Tech.

Hopefully Iowa gets hot and Tech is a little unready.

CJ is a stud. Plays D like a motherfucker. Is always squared up on his guy. Also has giant balls.

Luka was a grown ass man.

I’m up a lot of $ from the Bills ML pick. I’d say it was $2,000 but it wasn’t! I’d even post the ticket boyz. That was fun and CJ like our friend Beathard has clangers. Great win

That 3 by Frederick off the Bohannon air ball was the game.
