That game was a fucking microcosm of everything that is wrong with college basketball. Every single game pretty much comes down to which shitty group of refs is assigned to it. If you get the group that was assigned to this game and you play actual basketball, you're fucked. If you get the good group that did the Iowa State game, you have a great chance to win.

Wisconsin is a fucking joke and they aren't playing basketball, they are playing a terrible form of rape ball that should never be allowed on a court to defile the good Dr. James Naismith.

Refs let that game get out of hand from the start. They blew call after call and even when they had the aid of HD television monitors, they still couldn't get it right. Rebecca got smoked in the face TWICE and they let it go. Connor had the most obvious hook and hold done to him and Larry the monkey Scarratto (sp??) walked away from it telling Fran it didn't happen. Guys bashed in the face and bleeding all over the court, bodies flying everywhere, every cutter held off the ball, blatant offensive fouls called the other way and on and on and on.

Fran would have been justified killing one of them and beheading him at mid court and shitting down his dead throat. It wasn't just against Iowa either, they let crazy physical play go on both sides and it made for a nearly unwatchable game.

I really fucking hate what college basketball has become. The NCAA or the conferences need to take reffing seriously in football and basketball and hire full time refs and develop them and make them accountable like the NBA has done.
