Maybe we told him we're waiting on Vital and to GFH.

Maybe someone already said this.

Lol, this Moore kid is a fruitcake. I feel silly for considering the possibility again, but seeing him pull this shit again makes me alright with the fact he's not going to Iowa.

We need to go through this list....

SMU - program banned from post season play. 75 year old shady coach that has about a 1% chance to be there for long
LSU - clusterfuck program that could barely do anything in the SEC
Miami - arguably the most stable program on the list, but half way across the country
Cal - decent program, half way across the country
Illinois - dumpster fire with a coach likely to get fired this year
Georgia Tech - terrible program with a terrible coach that best case scenario is about the 9th best team in the ACC
Western Kentucky - lol
UNLV - they hired the 4th coach in the last 8 months

He's probably gotta be on a campus somewhere in like 60 days and he's tweeting a top 8 like its February of last year.

I wish we could all throw a few back with fran and hear his candid thoughts on some things. McCabe on Twitter, his thoughts on Izzo, Uthoff, losing ulis, and on the Irvins and charlie moore. I am positive it would be absolutely hilarious

It might be more sad than anything.

All I know is he better not ever try and take it to the basket against the Hawks......Fran will have the guys hammer him if he does. At least this is how it should work.

Hopefully Williams turns out to be the guy the coaches think he can be and bohannon proves to be the 3 point specialist and no mistake guy that most think he is. If those things happen, we might be happy in the end that we have open scholarships available for guys like Nunge, Malik Williams, Negron, and Garza.

Good call. Might as well save ourselves the pain.

Cal is solid now but there's a lot of rumors about Cuonzo getting elite players. There were reports of him talking with Georgia Tech and a few national guys basically said that was the reason.

First post. If that's my list, and I'm a point guard, I take Miami. Larranaga turned Larkin and Rodriguez into solid point guards and they play in the ACC. So my guess is LSU.

It's hard to say how much of this is Charlie being a headcase (he did reportedly have a 3.8 gpa, although that doesn't exclude the headcase hypothesis) and how much of it is his handlers, who are certified self-interested meddling assholes. No matter who's responsible for it, though, that list of schools is absurd outside of Cal and Miami--and if distance means anything to Charlie or his family, those two are questionable as well.

What other Iowa targets can you recall whose recruitment was such a clusterfuck on the recruit's side? What really pisses me off about this is that for a brief moment there, I got sucked into believing we had a chance.

As an aside, I noticed that Harty was the first in my twitter feed to point out that Howe's story got blown out of the water shortly after it was posted.

Hopefully this is your last post.
Can't I speculate? He's the one that chose that list not me. No need to take your frustration out on little ole me.

A cryptic "24 hours" tweet seems to suggest that Christian Vital will announce his commitment tomorrow. Most of us have already accepted days ago that he wasn't likely to visit here anyways, so this isn't a surprise. We'll see if Iowa pursues anyone else now that Vital and Moore are both out. I'd guess they are done.

We've had some ugly players at Iowa but this guy would top the list. Probably top the list at every school

I'm sick of white point guards.

I bet nobody has made that joke.

Interesting note on Maishe Dailey, a combo guard out of Ohio formerly committed to Rutgers. He started following Sherman Dillard and Christian Williams on Twitter recently, and tweeted this a few days ago:

I had seen reference in a couple different places to a recent mystery visitor. I wonder if it was Dailey.

His recruiting profile is horrible, and I understand highlight videos are meant to do this (he never misses!), but he looks fairly impressive.
