I'm assuming they are the same company that produces FloWrestling. Some of their doc/news pieces have been pretty good but I believe there have been a bunch of issues with live streamed meets. I know the Penn State-OK state dual last year was highly touted and their feed was down for a good portion of the match.

LOL at $30 being a hard pass... but just a heads up if you were planning on getting BTN Plus for the games in the next month: If you signed up for Flo now (or for Friday) you'd get all 5 of those games as well as it included BTN Plus. So $30 for 8 games. Or $10 for 5 games if you can't swing $30. Or $30 for 3 games if you're dumb. Or $40 for 8 games if you're really dumb.

It's about the tourist trade and tropical promo spots, not how many people actually attend the games. The event is likely funded by the government's tourism arm and/or one or more of the destination resorts. I don't think they have to pay the teams all that much, because teams view the trip as a recruiting tool and a chance to schmooze the boosters. The production costs for the telecast are probably rock bottom, as those of us who are goofy enough to pay to watch will soon be reminded.

Probably best for everyone involved. Kind of feel bad for him as it was painfully obvious he wasn't a point guard from day one. His ceiling was probably a 8-10 minute defensive specialist type role at off guard. I wonder if this changes Ellingson's decision for next year.

Feel bad for him but this does seem like it's probably for the best. Connor seems like he's a much more natural point guard, and I was never thrilled with him redshirting when he can clearly help the team now.

Nice kid and hope he does well.

I guess Connor will be on scholarship at semester and then when Dailey inevitably transfers after the season there is no longer a scholarship problem.

As long as bohannon stays healthy this isn't bad news at all given Connor has reportedly been playing well. Ellingson can play point in spots.

Ellingson was a really good passer last year when he played so he should be okay for spot minutes. It would be nice if they had a PG who could get to the rim to create drive and kick opportunities (I haven't seen Connor play much so maybe he'll be better at that? ) but they should be better at the position than they were last year either way if everyone is healthy.

It's not that surprising. He was a top 100ish recruit who was almost certainly being underranked because hyping someone everyone already knew was going to play for his dad doesn't get anyone clicks.
