That's called regression to the mean. He may have shot higher than that last year but in the end, the dude is a really good shooter. I don't see that changing too much.

The posts do a good job of passing it back out when doubled. If there is no double coming, there's no reason to pass it back out unless someone like JBo is wide open.
Agree, we already know Cook isn't kicking it out. Garza looks to be very skilled black hole just judging by an exhibition game. Kreiner has shown some willingness to pass and Pemsl is a great passer.

Settle down big fella. I qualified that by saying one exhibition game but 1 assist, 4 turnovers, and forcing multiple shots when he had other bigs wide open begging for the ball doesn't scream great passer. I'll have to take a closer look at his eyes next game to judge his passing ability though.

Pretty much agree, couple nitpicks. 2nd half on ball d from the guards was much better, even pretty good (Fran said that postgame). But zone is clearly in our future against probably 1/2 the conference. Trotted it out for just a couple minutes late and it looked bad.
Agree on Cook. He finally showed a little patience in the post. Instead of getting the ball and making a move immediately he held the ball for a second or two and allowed guys to make cuts and made the defense make a decision. I sometimes forget the kid is a sophomore because he played so much last year but if he can continue to show that patience he's going to make the game a lot easier for a lot of his teammates.
The dunk in the second half where he backed his man down was way better.

Not only a hedge, but the 6'10'' big man MUST chase him another 20 feet from the hoop while a simple pass to the wing and entry or drive to the post results in a layup in the space vacated by the big man 45 feet away from the hoop on a PG now.
Maybe they'll shore things up defensively in his 9th or 10th year.
Nah, they will figure it out enough. As bad as they are on defense, they were so much worse last year and had a tougher schedule and still managed to finish above .500 in conference.
I like that clip except for us apparently being completely unable to stay in front of anyone.
