Yeah the problems on offense aren’t because cook posts too much, it is turnovers. They are still really efficient.

Iowa needs to upgrade at guard even as efficient as they were on offense. They have no one on the roster that you give the ball to at the top at the end of the game and say ‘go make a play for yourself and win the game’ unless an off balance 3 is what you’re looking for.

It’s ok to say this while also mentioning that bohannon, Cook and Garza are great players. It’s not a knock on them. Fran has built the team as he sees he needs to to compete in the Big Ten.

And yes a team like Wisconsin can make a run to the Final Four with Koenig, Gasser and Jackson, it’s not impossible, just much more difficult. Like Kirk with Iowa football, their style works great but can lead to some frustrating losses.

I could maybe see a transfer if it's a P5 team where he has a good chance to make a deep tournament run and get himself a lot of extra exposure, but not to one that just finished near the bottom of the Big Ten. Follows the same theme with similar models but he takes it out to wider paths sometimes. At this point it has Iowa 34th overall. Projected to be 11th in offense, 95th in defense. This year his opponent adjustments had Iowa 86th while KenPom had them 91st. He had the offense ranking 24th, KenPom 21st and the defense 209 while KenPom had them 249. Without any defections we'd be returning 98.7% of minutes from this year.

The thing that did it for me was they mentioned up to 5 guys are leaving, and we don't even get any names from any of them. What's the point of your service if you're not going to give up a name or two or three? Then when they leave, say you knew for 2 weeks like he always does.

I just don't see it. He plays, in my opinion, plenty. I don't see him going to UNI and playing that much more. MAYBE 12-18 minutes? I can see him, as a junior, getting that at Iowa next year.
