Agreed. I would say ESPN/Scout seems a distant 3rd in reliability behind 247 and Rivals.

I haven't seen Weiskamp play but AJ is an absolute stud. He just put up 36 on City West and hit some ridiculous clutch shots. His defense is sub-par so he'd be an ideal fit at Iowa. Damn shame he is heading to Northern.

This x100. For most of these high level kids, the HS season doesn't mean much. The level of competition among the elite AAU teams is what matters.

The level of competition at the HS level sucks compared to AAU. It's not even really comparable.

His teammates are pretty bad, so the style of basketball he is playing in high school is a total disconnect. Shooting percentages and rebound numbers are somewhat relevant, but thats about it.

The best thing about him is it doesn't seem like he is falling into bad habits like other high school kids do in their seasons. He is rebounding like crazy, playing defense and taking good shots while a lot of other players play half-assed and chuck terrible shots.

His control and efficiency of movement are really impressive in the highlight videos.

If Joe gets matched up against a short two guard down there it’s over. We had absolutely never had anyone to exploit a match up like that.

He looks to be a great rebounder for his position and athletic and smart enough to be one of the better defenders on the team right away.

He should be a nice break from our backcourt that is loaded with one dimensional, spot up shooters that also happen to he terrible defenders.

Add in his his rebounding and hopefully being a decent defender and we got ourselves a SG.

I wish all of our players had Ellingson's understanding of the game and movement. Fuck Fran for making me hate him so much. I feel terrible that Fran put him in a position to look like a dumbfuck so many times.

Dailey can stay too. I like his attitude. He plays hard and improved from last year. I'd like to replace him in the rotation with a better player but fine with him remaining on the team.

I prefer Kreiner stay over Pemsl.

He's much more athletic and a better rebounder. I think its more likely Kreiner would develop into the serviceable garbage guy everyone thought Wagner would be.

I mean he sucks but he might be ok as a senior.
