He seems to be an Iowa fan and the Hawkeyes were his first offer. The good thing for Iowa is when he is deciding where to commit, Iowa should be pretty damn good and loaded with Iowa players.

They would have a team of something like this around when Foster decides where to commit....

- bohannon (Jr) / Williams (Sr) / C. McCaffery (So)
- Moss (Jr) / Weiskamp (Fr) / Ellingson (Sr)
- Cook (Jr) / Baer (Sr) / Dailey (Jr)
- Pemsl (Jr) / Wagner (Sr) / Nunge (So)
- Garza (So) / Kreiner (Jr)

I'm sure Fran won't be carrying 14 players and at least 3 of those guys won't be here. The ever changing transfer odds on 1/2/17 is that Williams, McCaffery and Dailey are the least likely to be on the team still.

They don't have to lose players but on average one per year has left the program and that is normal for college basketball. We are talking about a team two years from now so I figure two or three guys won't be here out of the current group.

I think this whole McCaffrey is going to play baseball thing is going to end up being nothing. Have we ever been less pumped about a 4* recruit in the history of the program?

(I stole this line from L Wade but it's kinda true)

With all the in-state prospects over the next few years in basketball (along with the current roster), the way the football team is trending, and the wrestling recruits slated to be on campus in the upcoming seasons this is a great time to be a Hawkeye Sports fan.
