Not unless he has keys to the Mouscatine YMCA.Lol no shit. Joe isn’t going to be a first round pick.

Considering he came off the bench and only played 15 minutes/game, I'm not sure anyone has an idea what his ceiling is. I think he ends up averaging 18-20 ppg and 8-10 rpg at some point.Where are we at on Patrick? I still feel like he has big time potential, but something is just kind of off. He still looks a bit awkward and isn’t the best ball handler. I remember the Sam Dekker comparisons and that isn’t going to happen. What is his ceiling?
??? he’s a great ball handler with great vision for someone his size.Where are we at on Patrick? I still feel like he has big time potential, but something is just kind of off. I just hope he doesn't get drafted against his will.??? he’s a great ball handler with great vision for someone his size.
basically an Aaron white/Shaun Livingston combo.
Lol. He’s a fine ball handler. Probably better than he looks. He looks awkward??? he’s a great ball handler with great vision for someone his size.

The best and worst thing for Wieskamp has been playing along side a guy who effortlessly put up 24/10 for two years.Iowa fans are way way too hard on Wieskamp and their opinion is stupidly low on him. He's a consensus 2nd team All-Big Ten player as a junior.
I think he is going to surprise most IowaFan types by the time he is playing pro.
Right, so he is showing that he doesn't need to be ball dominant to score or be highly efficient. I would think that is a massive positive thing for what his role will be going forward at the pro level. The best and worst thing for Wieskamp has been playing along side a guy who effortlessly put up 24/10 for two years.
Holy fuck. Joe W to Payton Pritchard and Patrick to Shaun Livingston comparisons in here. I thought I'd avoid most of the idiocy by moving out of the Lounge for the day.
He’s a white 6-9, 110 dude. He is going to look to look awkward his entire life.Lol. He’s a fine ball handler. Probably better than he looks. He looks awkward
Learn how to read. I said Joe should look at Pritchard's career path (i.e. big senior year productivity launching from likely undrafted to late first round). I made no comparisons of position, skill set, etc.Holy fuck. Joe W to Payton Pritchard and Patrick to Shaun Livingston comparisons in here. That isn't what it looks like at all, but by all means freak out. He's going to get another big in the transfer market. It's looking like a Riley Mulvey/ Josh O platoon at Center next year.
I'm assuming Rabrawhatever will get an offer. It's looking like a Riley Mulvey/ Josh O platoon at Center next year.
I don't know why a veteran, successful college basketball player should be scared about a guy who decided to reclassify to attend college. Everybody can win here.
College basketball player egos may be as fragile as message board poster egosI don't know why a veteran, successful college basketball player should be scared about a guy who decided to reclassify to attend college. Everybody can win here.
I didn't realize I was freaking out. More making a statement. That isn't what it looks like at all, but by all means freak out. He's going to get another big in the transfer market.
But his uncle coaches there! When the opportunity comes along to play for three different terrible teams in three years, you gotta take it.
At least he went in the right order academically, and will end up with a degree from Vanderbilt. When the opportunity comes along to play for three different terrible teams in three years, you gotta take it.
Noted.Calm the fuck down Saul
He won't be ready on day 1. This is solely to get him into the weight room and begin getting his body adjusted for the Big Ten. Depending on how things shake out, it's likely he will red shirt this year.Noted.
FTR, I actually really like Mulvey as a prospect. Think he's a more atheltic version of Woody with some shot blocking ability. His defense will be a big help. Just not sure how ready he will be from day one.
Says who?He won't be ready on day 1. This is solely to get him into the weight room and begin getting his body adjusted for the Big Ten. Depending on how things shake out, it's likely he will red shirt this year.
I'll take this bet. Woody and Garza both played as true freshmen. I think Riley will as well.He won't be ready on day 1. This is solely to get him into the weight room and begin getting his body adjusted for the Big Ten. Depending on how things shake out, it's likely he will red shirt this year.
I was ready to call Liam an all-time Iowa great, but those plans are gone now. How many guys are left in the portal? One or two maybe?I would love to have Robbins and he is pretty good, but for fuck's sake the guy was hurt half the year and was garbage from end of January on.
I agree with everything until the last phrase. I'd be pretty surprised if he redshirted. He won't be ready on day 1. This is solely to get him into the weight room and begin getting his body adjusted for the Big Ten. Depending on how things shake out, it's likely he will red shirt this year.

both of Iowa’s commits had several high major offers aside from Iowa.I don't know what Fran says when recruiting against other high major programs, but he should try something else.
Family, Iowa kids that grew up Hawkeye fans, diamonds in the rough that nobody wants...that's the Fran recruiting pool. It's pretty remarkable he's been able to get us to the NCAA tournament on a semi-regular basis.
Yea, Boeheim is totally a nobody. What would he know about offering a player a scholly?I don't know what Fran says when recruiting against other high major programs, but he should try something else.
