There’s probably like 900 guys still out there. I don’t know what they’ll get and it almost surely won’t be someone as good as a healthy CJ, but I’d bet he adds a shooter along with a big.

At this point Iowa might as well offer the D3 kid from Wash U. They need some shooting next year in a bad way.

My prediction is that Fran is going to be just fine. Next year could be rough because Fran is legitimately going to be plugging holes through the portal, but he will rebound.

I also find it hard to be upset at Fran for this. He put together and developed one hell of a roster. Every important player got hurt at the wrong time and apparently Fredrick had one foot out the door. Lose the NPOTY, lose your center who was poised to breakout but his dad died, lose Fredrick- who Fran was in on when no one else was, and probably lose Wieskamp, who Fran showcased and helped progress into a guy with a real shot at the NBA.

It sucks and feels like we are cursed and can’t have nice things. That might be true, but I find it difficult to be upset with Fran over this.
