look at those arms. Must be on the TH workout plan.
Dane Belton not making enough game affecting plays for you?I hope they look at Nwankpa at corner. Safety/cash is important and all, but a great talent can affect the game more at corner and he obviously projects to either.
FIFYJust remember, Peaches can take a covid year and shove it right up his ass
Kakert mentioned that Jaeden Gould is close with Xavier. He was a USC commit until their coaching change. Has a Nebrantska visit scheduled, but now Iowa is trying to get in late and grab him.Tyler Barnes started following this 4* 2022 CB tonight....

Jaeden Gould, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Cornerback
2020: Played five games in an abbreviated junior season (team played six, went 5-1).247sports.com

The part I didn't like about Harris was him single-handedly losing the championship game by halftime.Sure, but there is one proven corner in that group. *I did like what I saw from Harris when he was put in.
I thought Terry Roberts looked way better than Harris when he played. The part I didn't like about Harris was him single-handedly losing the championship game by halftime.
He was ahead of Harris on the depth chart so it makes sense.I thought Terry Roberts looked way better than Harris when he played.
I wonder how far back we would need to go to find an Iowa corner who didn’t look like they needed a lot of work in their first few games getting meaningful playing time. Des?The part I didn't like about Harris was him single-handedly losing the championship game by halftime.
I’m sure losing had nothing to do with Peaches being completely inept from around the 50 on 3 straight possessionsThe part I didn't like about Harris was him single-handedly losing the championship game by halftime.
Yeah he was bad too. Played well off the bench in Lincoln to get us there but I hope he isn't the QB next year.I’m sure losing had nothing to do with Peaches being completely inept from around the 50 on 3 straight possessions
There's "needing work" and then there's being solely responsible for a 15 yard gain turning into a 70 yard TD and a trick play TD when Michigan's offense hadn't done much. I struggle to recall a historical comparison.I wonder how far back we would need to go to find an Iowa corner who didn’t look like they needed a lot of work in their first few games getting meaningful playing time. lol. I haven’t rewatched Corums touchdown since Sunday morning, but I seem to recall Benson, Campbell & specifically Koerner being bad on that play. Yes, Harris allowed himself to get juked. All his fault!!!!There's "needing work" and then there's being solely responsible for a 15 yard gain turning into a 70 yard TD and a trick play TD when Michigan's offense hadn't done much. We talked about this right after the game, but when you want to play "field position" football like Iowa, this series of drives in the 2nd quarter was a killer:I’m sure losing had nothing to do with Peaches being completely inept from around the 50 on 3 straight possessions
i like you, Mikey. For that reason I am willing to send you some pictures of murdered puppies if you need a more pleasant distraction today. We talked about this right after the game, but when you want to play "field position" football like Iowa, this series of drives in the 2nd quarter was a killer:
- Iowa 33: 6 plays, 14 yards, punt
- Iowa 41: 4 plays, 15 yards, punt
- Iowa 45: 3 plays, 6 yards, punt
Basically, everything else went to script. You were pinning them deep, the defense was holding, you were starting with good field position. They were just completely incapable of *doing* anything with it.
While I'm torturing myself, they also had drives that *ended* in the following locations and got the following points:
- Michigan 15: 0 (missed FG)
- Michigan 4: 3
- Michigan 8: 0 (downs)
Fuck.
Yes, that play being a house call instead of a 15 yard gain was entirely his fault. How you can believe anything other than that is incredible. What exactly do you think his responsibility is in that situation?lol. I will rewatch the play after work and give you my detailed breakdown!!! If Koerner fucked up on that play, like I suspect he did, you’re gonna get it Fritz!!!! Running straight into the middle and getting pancaked and having no impact on the play whatsoever?Benson very Bo Bower-esque on that play
If I had to put my finger on it, I would say my least favorite part is the 75 yard touchdown run.I hate every single thing about that play.
How the fuck would you know? It’s hard to defensive backs to tell if it was a backwards pass
because I was a huge DBHow the fuck would you know?
Fixed.because I was and am a huge DB
By the way Campbell played that, it looked like his job was to maintain outside leverage and force the runner inside, which he did. Benson looked like he guessed wrong and wasn't there to fill.Running straight into the middle and getting pancaked and having no impact on the play whatsoever?
not if you are watching it on a big screen tv....It’s hard to defensive backs to tell if it was a backwards pass
Phil coaches his guys to not turn and look for the ball and instead focus on the video boardnot if you are watching it on a big screen tv....
You should leave nowI think Jones should leave. He is a pro.
Disagree plenty.
Of the 3 other defenders mentioned - Koerner got sucked up way to far to where he and Campbell ended up getting blocked by the same guy. I don't know what you'd criticize Campbell for other than not shedding the block I guess. Benson just attacked up the middle and the play went away from him.
After that, once Harris got juked out of his soul, that was it. Other than Harris sure I'd place the most blame on Koerner. Merriweather ended up in bad position but I'm not sure he planned on the guy with primary responsibility laying on the ground.
Starting FS 2024Another PWO for the 2022 class.
Are you sure it isn't:1. His family 2. Being a good citizen 3. Working hard
look at the big brain on HiawathaHawk.Disagree plenty.
The motion from that formation triggers a change. Belton reduces down and is taking over Campbell’s fit in the B gap. Benson appears to be automatically coming inside and at least occupying that guard. Waggoner is boxing in the jet sweep. The safeties rotate like it’s cover 3 so Koerner is coming down to fill the alley like he should. Campbell is the one that doesn’t make sense to me and I’m guessing there was the mistake. It seems he should be filling that C gap since he has Koerner outside of him. Instead he bumps way out wide which opens up the crease and allows the TE to take him and Koerner out of the play.
And what should have been a 10-15 yard gain ends up a TD because Harris crashes in & loses leverage.Disagree plenty.
