I saw Kirk on the TV. He's not on vacationIt feels a long shot to land either of the SE Polk guys
And that’s what I expect. It’s almost like kids ranked that high always end up at Alabama, Ohio State or Clemson.
Iowa just beat OSU for two offensive linemen in the 2021 class. It’s almost like kids ranked that high always end up at Alabama, Ohio State or Clemson.
Leostikow had Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz on 2 weeks ago and asked him about it. Brian started talking about the farmer in Charlie Wilson’s War that always says ‘We’ll see’This is all fucking stupid. A lot more harm than good is going to happen to these kids.
I'm not even going to say "well, maybe it will be fine and won't be a big deal".Leostikow had Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz on 2 weeks ago and asked him about it. Brian started talking about the farmer in Charlie Wilson’s War that always says ‘We’ll see’
His point was basically all anyone is talking about is the obvious good it can do without even thinking about the eventual bad shit that’s going to come up.
I would think that is correct unless the IHSAA plans on following the NCAA and allowing this. If they don't, they can and have made kids ineligible for accepting money for playing. There’s like zero way he’s going to even be eligible for his senior year at SE Polk if he’s going down this road, right? Does it matter?
I doubt it. Many of them love their sport and their friends. Playing for their high school team means more to a 17-18 year old than those of us who are far removed from kids that age might remember.Eventually more and more will sit out their senior years of high school after they commit
It's a copy/paste job a lot of college football/basketball players are sharing. This is the guy transferred to MN last year and back to Utah last year. That tweet was a message to the boosters at his finalists. I'd pass on this kid.
And for college guys, sure, start trying to get a piece of the pie. But Xavier I think forgot he was still in high school. It's a copy/paste job a lot of college football/basketball players are sharing. This is the guy transferred to MN last year and back to Utah last year.
Yup. Why should a guy like Proctor play 2 more years of hs football?Eventually more and more will sit out their senior years of high school after they commit
Great. Let the SEC take chances on recruiting a bunch of players that haven’t played on the field since they were 16. Much higher volatilityYup. Why should a guy like Proctor play 2 more years of hs football?
They’ll be happy to take that chance.Great. Let the SEC take chances on recruiting a bunch of players that haven’t played on the field since they were 16. Much higher margin of error.
A kicker is a five-star? Didn't even know that was possible.
Theres some different recruiting service that only evaluates and rates kicking specialists.A kicker is a five-star? Didn't even know that was possible.

Walk onWalkon or scholarship?
I think we’re all in agreement that players should be able to benefit from NIL. Let the free market determine what these guys are worth. Unfortunately, this is going to devolve quickly. Kids are going to be paid well above market value by super douche fanboys.I'm not even going to say "well, maybe it will be fine and won't be a big deal".
It's going to be a clusterfuck of epic proportions that leads to some incredibly shady shit (that makes the current shady shit look terrible) and so many unintended consequences.
We have all been 16-22 years old during our lives. Imagine where your head and priorities would be if someone gives you $10k to do a post or a commercial. You going to give a shit about finishing that paper you have due? You going to go and get some extra shots up or a workout in for a couple hours or do a twitch stream and get some $$?
Xavier is a 5* stud. He openly asked tonight for anyone and everyone to DM him and that he is "open for business". How is that not an invitation to start bidding on him for anyone with booster tied interests? For fuck's sake, there is a guy in his comments saying he is an Iowa fan and is going to try to get his Iowa fan law firm to try and buy him.
I'm optimistic for the majority of position groups at Iowa but RB is one that I'm not overly thrilled with once Goodson leaves. From weekend visitors Allen Trieu put in CBs for Riley-Ducker, Bostick, and the white RB for Iowa. As well as Michigan state for Chase Carter. Carter will be a project in terms of his size but he's going to be really good after a few years in a college program
Yeah, some big misses in that position group since goodsen committed. Gavin Williams was a solid recruit, hope he pans outI'm optimistic for the majority of position groups at Iowa but RB is one that I'm not overly thrilled with once Goodson leaves.
I do what I want, I shit all over the floor.Second pic 100% looks like he is pooping
The white RB looks surprisingly good. Needs to gain some weight still but is pretty fucking fast - ran a 10.58 100m and 22.39 200m this spring.I'm optimistic for the majority of position groups at Iowa but RB is one that I'm not overly thrilled with once Goodson leaves.
