Read what I wrote. I didn’t say that was the case tonight. It obviously wasn’t in either of these west coast games. But choosing to play the way we do while simultaneously ignoring that trying to play defense is a good thing isn’t a winning formula.

If you’re going to choose to be weaker and slower than the other teams, you should go the classic Wisconsin route and fuck with people rather than willfully give up open threes and rim runs.

I went to sleep at the under 16 timeout of the USC game and turned last night’s game off at the under 8 timeout in the first half. These are things I couldn’t imagine doing 5 years ago. I am approaching a The Criminal era level of apathy and that’s a shame. I keep thinking maybe we will get another embarrassing ejection moment by Fran that could lead to him being fired but he doesn’t appear to be engaged enough for that to happen. That comeback vs Indiana was probably in my top 3 favorite CHA moments . That, the win vs Kansas, and beating Larry Eustachy’s (or whatever) ISU team when he proclaimed “I hate this place” in the postgame.
