That would be idiotic and wouldn't work for about a dozen reasons.
It would be awesome, a boon for college towns, and could be easily done if not for cronyism with shitty corrupt host cities like Providence.

I would imagine getting hotels in college towns for the men's tournament 5 days before they're needed would be a bitch

Disagree. They currently play on college campuses, and teams secure hotels whenever after they find out locations. It would add juice to being a top 4 seed, and be a lot of fun to have home crowds for some of the games. Would also attempt to solve the empty seat problem in the first two rounds.

Part of why the women can host regionals is because the men don't. How are you going to host both a men's and women's regional at the same site should both of your teams be in the top 16?

Not ideal, but doable:

11:00 and 1:30.

5:30 or 6:00 and 8:00 or 8:30.

Thought they were doing 4 games already with the men's.

I'm sorry to be mean, but holy shit some of you guys are retards when it comes to simple logistics.

H&B pointed out the first reason that it wouldn't work, and that is the women already do it so you can't double up on campus at the same time for 2x-3x more people. There aren't enough hotel rooms and facilities at most places. Both tournaments have different network partners, so now you have to accommodate 2 different sets of crews and equipment to produce and call games. You need proper practice and locker rooms and other things that many schools won't have.

The entire appeal of the NCAA tourney is also the neutral site crazy first 2 rounds. You guys want to take away the one thing that makes it magical and almost guarantee that a 1 through 4 seed never gets beat? That's FUCKING RETARDED and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

OU -4.5

I watched some of their game yesterday and wasn’t impressed. They do have more size though.

They might still come back and win, but this game is a reminder that if they want to keep competing at a very high level, they are going to need to go out and aggressively pay for some veteran players.
