At least he ended up at a good hoops school and knows he’ll likely have a very solid season and play in the tourney.

I just had a beer with Denning's brother. Or at least a guy who said he was Dennings brother but had a lot of not staged photos with him that he offered up.

A few of us were talking about Iowa basketball and this random guy next to me said his brother was a coach there. I paid no attention until he said Denning and I said 'Oh yeah I read a bit ago that he was staying on' and he proceeded to show pictures. He then said he had to go outside for a zoom meeting with his sponsor and the bartender said he's a tweaker but that is his last name, so

Kezza Giffa is visiting. Other names in the mix but not visiting yet Cade Tyson and Curtis Givens.

Tyson and Givens visiting together huh?

Givens could be a great option as backup PG this year and take over next year. Bad numbers last year but top 50-75 overall recruit last year.

Giffa seems like a great fit if they can get him. If they got both, not sure how Givens figures in.

Tyson is a great bench option. At his spot/role, doesn’t seem like there are a lot of minutes for him.

Man I wish Thelwell had another year.

Iowa feels good about Giffa but concerned about how much money USC could throw at him. They’re likely desperate with Claude entering the portal late and Arenas’ son smashing a Cyber Truck into something at 4:55 AM.
