Seems like the roster might be done, but @CamelTones might know better.
I thought it was a sign that Iowa was ready to get slimy in recruiting.I was convinced he must be an absolute stud for Fran to take the risk on him. Instead he was just a guy in the MEAC. So weird.
As in additions they haven't announced, or my team is on the court?Seems like the roster might be done, but @CamelTones might know better.
Consider the source and his track record on claims like this @Talkin' GoatCyko is a great guy. You'd be lucky to know him.
Watch yourself.Consider the source and his track record on claims like this @Talkin' Goat
According to someone in the Discord that was at Ben and Beth’s thing in Des Moines yesterday Iowa has a commit that isn’t public yet. They’re also looking for a depth piece but that one will take awhile apparently.Seems like the roster might be done, but @CamelTones might know better.
High school or transfer on the commit?According to someone in the Discord that was at Ben and Beth’s thing in Des Moines yesterday Iowa has a commit that isn’t public yet. They’re also looking for a depth piece but that one will take awhile apparently.
They seem to be focused on Euros.High school or transfer on the commit?
Either way, there isn't really any impact guys out there so guessing anything coming in now barring some complete surprise is just depth pieces.
Makes sense with the dollar tankingThey seem to be focused on Euros.
I fucking hope so@Monster likes gyros.
Is Ezza Giffa still on the radar?High school or transfer on the commit?

Eye-zaIs Ezza Giffa still on the radar?
Wants more money than they’re currently willing to give. But maybe. Is Ezza Giffa still on the radar?
cade kelderman went to ISUI thought it was a sign that Iowa was ready to get slimy in recruiting.
Nope. Just Anthony Hubbard, followed by 15 years of the Waukee Homecoming Court.
Banks and Manyawu are not shooters and McCollum won’t want 2 non shooters on the floor at the same time for spacing reasons. If it’s late in the game and they need defense, then yes.I think Banks will start over Howard, at least at first
I thought they were severely restricted with what they could earn from NIL?To sum it all up they’re still going to add 2 players. 1 will likely be starter quality or first off the bench guard type.
If the season started tomorrow you would likely see this starting lineup:
Stirtz
Hausen
Howard
Folgueiras
Manyawu
3 main bench guys would be Banks, Koch and Combs. Jirak will have to give them minutes in the post as well.
Cade Tyson could be the secret commit which is a boom or bust type of signing. If they get the Belmont version awesome. If they get the UNC version woof.
I think you’ll see more European players making their way over moving forward with NIL. They can make more in NIL deals here and teams want them because they’re generally older players that have already spent years developing so they’re much more plug and play. They also play/are taught a more team oriented game than what is typical of the AAU circuit.
We will see. Banks was arguably the second best player on Drake's team last yearBanks and Manyawu are not shooters and McCollum won’t want 2 non shooters on the floor at the same time for spacing reasons. If it’s late in the game and they need defense, then yes.
Do CJ Frederick or Jack Nunge have any more eligibility?According to someone in the Discord that was at Ben and Beth’s thing in Des Moines yesterday Iowa has a commit that isn’t public yet. They’re also looking for a depth piece but that one will take awhile apparently.
I hope not since he is currently built like Janet RenoTalked to a former CIML coach who says Jirak is now almost 7 feet tall. He's convinced Jirak will be a nice player, young for his grade and hasn't physically matured yet.
He's an 18 year old senior...that's not young for his grade.Talked to a former CIML coach who says Jirak is now almost 7 feet tall. He's convinced Jirak will be a nice player, young for his grade and hasn't physically matured yet.
It's a lot younger than nolook was when he was a seniorHe's an 18 year old senior...that's not young for his grade.
"young" for a senior could be someone who just turned 18 as opposed to someone who turned 18 last August. But I think "young" in his case was more along the lines of not physically mature yet. He's an 18 year old senior...that's not young for his grade.
I was with Janet Reno when she was Attorney General, and I can verify the truth of your post.Janet Reno was tougher than every player on last years team.

Seems like a massive hiring failure if that’s the case. Ames, IA can build a roster full of out of state black players, but it’s an unattainable dream in Iowa City.
