Iowa secured 300k last year. New coach new rules. Beth has funds and is getting more.

300k for the bottom bottom bottom team in the douche. And all this shit started with Ivan hooking up pat mccaffery with a falbos ad
Ivan tried to broker a deal with It's Brothers! for him too, but it seems Ivan is still blacklisted from there

I don’t think it’s $300k total. Just that was the most anyone player was making (Freeman, Sandfort Sr.) we were certainly less than $3 million and maybe $2 with those numbers tho.
It was a poorly worded tweet. I don’t doubt Iowa is at the bottom of the Douche in spending.

Trilly says IU finalizing the deal with DeVries. Their fans are pissed and want McCollum.

College basketball seems ripe for moneyball roster building. Beyond a handful of elite studs and a athletic 6’10 plus guys there hundreds if not thousands of players are essentially interchangeable. I doubt most guys who are 500k are worth 5x as much as a 100k guy. There’s still only so much money to go around at the top.

JR Koch posted on twitter that it was 1.2 million for this past season which I think was actually dead last in the Douche.

Dougie Fresh Fruit: Guys, you're still trying to replace Owen Freeman. I told you we can't do it, and we can't do it. Now, what we might be able to do is re-create him. Re-create him in the aggregate.
Yugo: The what?
Dougie: Owen Freeman's points per game was 16.7. Tommy Soybean's was 10.1. Billy Hayseed was 4.2. And Harry Hometown was 2.5. Add that up, and you get…
[snaps fingers and points at Ivan]
Ivan: Do you want me to speak?
Dougie: When I point at you, yeah.
Ivan: 16.8
Dougie: That's what we're looking for. Three ballplayers… three ballplayers whose average PPG is…
[snaps fingers again]
Ivan: 16.8.

Iowa swapped out Tony Perkins for Drew Thelwell and saved a couple hundred thousand.

This is what ToS had to say:
"Been told by multiple sources that the NIL issue was the sticking point for DeVries choosing Iowa. Sounds like SWARM was able to increase their budget significantly in terms of what they could promise him, but it wasn't good enough for him."
