For sure. Maybe Beth didn’t need a wake up call, but hopefully in attracting the coach she wants Beth is having to commit to investments into the program that make her slightly uncomfortable

Brad has issues, no doubt. But by all accounts the athletic department hasn’t really committed to helping swarm raise money, either. It just feels like they’re operating completely independent of each other. Perhaps Beth has a plan, but Brad doesn’t seem to know anything about it which makes me think the future plan doesn’t involve him

I’m fine with keeping the search private since Brad can’t keep his mouth shut. But money for NIL has to come in through Swarm. Call it The Showdown or something silly and get them really trash talking on social media which they already kind of do anyway. Charge $22 to get in. In between shots you could have them talk about leadership and other things. Give 1/3 to each of them for their individual charities and the Swarm gets the rest.

They need someone that doesn’t associate with these people.

This is my guess too. I mean he is no doubt putting in serious effort by by his own admission he isn't a "sales" guy (obviously he's an actuary) and to date, the Swarm only has about 3k members. Beth probably sees this and realize while Brad is a nice guy, he may not be very useful to her at this point. She knows who the big donors are and can connect directly with them.
