I enjoyed Frans style from an entertainment perspective, but it always became evident during tournament time that it just wasn't going to translate to the NCAA tournament.

It’s just waiting game since they won. Hopefully WVU is impatient/doesn’t think they can close with Ben and wants to lock in Calhoun to get going before the portal opens.

Also the win should help with any key donors on the fence. That was a masterclass in coaching if they watched the game. I could see people getting fired back up for McCollum even after the DeVries disappointment.

This is my guess too. I mean he is no doubt putting in serious effort by by his own admission he isn't a "sales" guy (obviously he's an actuary) and to date, the Swarm only has about 3k members. Beth probably sees this and realize while Brad is a nice guy, he may not be very useful to her at this point. She knows who the big donors are and can connect directly with them.
