Lick's biggest issue seemed to be less an Xs/Os coaching one and more a roster management one. I remember him losing 4 of his starters in back to back years, and that was BEFORE the transfer portal. Awful.

He had some bad ideas too. Lick never ever tried to break a press and get layups, so the hawks would get pressed and start their offense with 18 seconds on the clock and Bawinkle in the corner standing still.
