Absolutely true. But they are essentially the “value” of your recruits, which is basically the same as ranking your recruiting class like the old days, but now with money attached. It’s like Iowa hoops being in the top 10 this year for transfers. That’s a great fucking thing because they aren’t spending remotely close to the amount but getting a massive value out of them. It’s all the same shit getting spit out in different ways that ultimately says who is getting the best prospects/transfers.

That’s a wider differential between the top and bottom than I would have expected.

TE Evan Jacobson 6'7" from Waukee now has offers from Ohio State, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida State, Kansas State, Miami, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Arkansas, and others.
He was always basketball younger, but according to my 17 year old, Evan just got back from an official at Stanford for football.

Options are nice.
