He’s pretty loyal to his coach. He was offered a large sum of money to move to a P5 program last year but turned it down and was going to stay at D2 MN Moorhead. When his coach left to Denver, he transferred to follow him.

Maybe that has changed. Also he’s pretty small.

Do you watch a bunch of summit league ball?

No but I have watched a few Summit games due to a work friend’s son playing on one of the teams. Johnson can fill it up but I’ve been told he is hunted on the defensive side of the ball and Denver gave up 40+ to players their last two games as a result. Looks like he has already announced he is coming back to Denver so doesn’t matter.
