I'm worried about a situation where we don't exactly know what we are getting. We have guys on this team who helped the team make it to the elite 8 this year. I would probably resent some dude who wasn't a part of that making $4 million, way more than anyone else.

That and Hausen and Folgers were largely disappointments last year.

Yes, they made the elite 8, they were also two losses away from missing the tournament entirely. and that was with an NBA pg.

There is a ton of room for improvement when it comes to this roster.

‘27 class could be really good. Gotta finish but they’re top 2-3 for a lot of studs. Despite what Wade has been idiotically ranting about, I bet they land one of those top PGs they’re in on.

Can you imagine letting something that happened at some high school cloud your love for the program you’ve loved for years? I know Wade said he was over the moon about the Elite Eight appearance but he is clearly not over some perceived slight. Combs played PG a lot while Stirtz was off the ball, so he is fine in that role to a certain extent. Coleman probably comfortable enough to do that as well so both of them on the court at the same time isn’t overly concerning. But both obviously aren’t going to play 40 minutes, so who helps when they rest. Howard can do it some and Sage can do it some, so worst case scenario is they make it work with those four. I’d feel a lot better if another solid portal guard was an option though.
