You know those lines on a football field? You could use those to actually measure distance. So when someone throws a football, you can use those yard lines to determine if he threw the ball farther than someone else.

Here's the post Stinky replied to. Eastern Illinois subsequently lost 9 of their next 10 games and Iowa actually made the NCAA tournament and had a winning record in the douche.
