The rule change is absolutely unnecessary and really only serves to take more fun fakes away. It’s bullshit.

LWade should root for UNI exclusively and keep doing so once they become a D2 program. I mean, he keeps searching for reasons to get preemptively mad about McCollum after Iowa made an Elite 8, and while most of us here have misgivings about Kirk, he even blows those out of proportion. He can’t find it within himself to give either major program credit for anything and truly deserves to root for Mark Farley every year instead.

Now please respond with some self-evident bullshit about how Kirk’s offenses aren’t good or he’s stubborn. That will be totally new information to all of us that we haven’t bitched about before. Surely the other neighboring Big 10 schools are kicking Iowa’s ass and the school is destined to be a conference bottom-dweller.

I’ve got mad at McCollum for exactly one thing because it was unnecessary, avoidable, and narcissistic.

One is also the exact number of UNI games I’ve watched in the past 7-8 years.

I “blow out of proportion” such minor things as refusing to fire his incompetent son, focusing on punting instead of scoring points, allowing a meathead racist to run the program, and generally treating the program like his own on personal asset. Just nitpicking though.

Otherwise, good effort. Highly recommend this poster; will read again.

Even if we take your response at face value, you’re at best Wisconsin fan that wanted Paul Chryst fired. It’s tired and boring. No one here thinks Kirk is infallible and your McCollum’s son thing is based on a hypothetical that has yet to/will likely never happen. You also literally said after the tourney you’d still rather have DeVries. You know, the guy who had the most money spent on his team in the country and still missed the tournament.

Meanwhile you defend Fran whose nepotism was arguably worse than Kirk’s (without anywhere near the winning). The whole schtick doesn’t make one iota of sense.

The fact they averaged nearly 30ppg might matter more. I’d think the staff might mention that at some point in the recruiting

Great, we averaged 30 ppg with a fringe-pro one year QB under an OC the head coach didn’t want to hire in the first plac

They followed that up by doing nothing at the most important position.

just remember, if it weren’t for some important people finally stepping in to force a return to sanity, Brian would still be your OC.
