There should be nothing controversial about my opinions, which is exactly why we are in the situation we are in right now.

Honestly, I could argue that he should’ve been fired by now. But we’ve been winning, which is enjoyable on 7-9 days a year, so whatever. But you know damn well what is coming down the road. He will hold out as long as he can, and then force the university (via money, influence, timing, or all of the above ) to hire whoever he wants, rather than doing legitimate national search for what is a very attractive job.

When the people with the *actual* embarrassing jokes of lives want to try to rip on me personally for stating facts or reasonable assumptions, you might want to reassess if your position. Or kill yourself. Up to you.
this is a drama queen overstatement.

it could not be any of his sons. or Chris Doyle.

could he install Seth Wallace? Probably, if things are still going very well (8-10 wins a year). and it would be hard to say that’s not the best path forward, given the demonstrated risks of blowing up a successful culture and program identity in this part of the country over the last 25 years.

I think the succession plan is pretty obvious. Levar took the job at msu to get other experience so when Kirk does retire he’s ready

Whether or not he’d be successful I think it’s the right move.
