If the QB threw a good ball that is a walk in touchdown. Terrible.

I checked the roster today and noticed for the first time the players are no longer listed by class designation, just which year they're in (1-5). Not seeing "sophomore" or "RS Freshman" was strangely affecting. Not really related to the seismic impact of the NIL era, but still felt like another lost vestige of the good old days.

"The best thing about a second year guy is that he becomes a third year guy" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

You guys just might be making more out of it than is necessary. It's just an offhanded coachspeak remark. Anyone who has ever played any sport at all has heard comments like that from coaches. I'm sure he was super serious when he said it.

It's always good to let your QBs know that like almost all you coached before them, you don't expect them to be great.

It's a good message and one they need to hear leading up to their first playing time in their college lives.

It's hilarious!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

What a card.
I never said it was actually funny. But taking it seriously in any way is moronic. Yeah, I'm sure Kirk's comment really hurt the feelings of every QB on the team and will most definitely lead to poor play.

There are a zillion comments that won't lead to poor play or hurt feelings, but that doesn't mean they're not retarded.

Especially when coming from the head coach of the worst offenses (and QBs) in college football who also had his fat retarded son as the QB coach, despite him being fat, retarded and having never thrown a football anywhere but between his legs.

I guess what I'm saying is that he wouldn't know a good QB if he was dickslapped in the face by one, so he isn't qualified to establish a floor or ceiling for them.

StinQy somehow believes that everyone including college QBs are as sensitive as he is to what people say.

Well, regardless if he has the qualifications to rate quarterbacks, he's absolutely right in that statement. Neither of them are going to be as good as Peyton Manning or Tom brady.

You have no way of knowing that.

It's safe to say based on the coaching they'll receive, but they could overcome it.

Would people have said that Tom Brady would be as good as Marino or Elway when he was in college? His draft position says, nope. But here we are.

I think they could both accomplish Brady stats (especially the TD/INT) in his junior year: 214 of 350 passing (61.1%), 2,636 yards, 15 TD, 12 INT

You have written some funny stuff on this board. But we're not expecting you to be Hunter S Thompson or David Sederis.

OH NOES!!!

I guess it bugs me when the worst offensive coach in college football starts poor boyin' it with his QBs.

"Regardless of who we pick, you guys realize they're not gonna be great."

Coach, I have a follow up question, why is that?

Tom Brady in college wasn't as good

I’m not sure but it’s absolutely something important and everyone should be emotionally sensitive to it

I'm glad you're getting the football board back to the basics this summer. It's good that you're doing that.

Blocking and tackling.
I’m sorry you let your feeling & emotions get the better of you. That’s so unusual for you
