Lol. My bad.

It's a classic LW move though. Make a ridiculous statement (EVERY SINGLE KID HAS A SCOOTER!!!). A couple people call him out, mildly I'd say (c'mon, EVERY kid? It's not even close to every kid). LW's response? WELL THEN WHY ARE THEY MAKING LAWS ABOUT SCOOTERS!!!1!

Completely avoiding the point. Comes in with a bad faith Nolookian response. Lol.

every single kid has an electric scooter.

What’s crazy is that 99% have dads around.

Btw the “easy pick 6” from the Iowa St game happened at 8 minutes left in the third quarter so fuck off with that narrative.

It's crazy this day in age that there are still so many recruiting misses. Shit Diaz ends up at FCS Rio Grande Valley, Braeden Jackson only got juco looks...David Johnson barely got a grayshirt offer at Iowa.

A lot of guys who end up at FCS schools fall into 2 categories. 1. Highly productive high school players with suspect measurables or 2. Freakish athletes who underperformed from a statistical standpoint.

Other than being a little underweight (something that can easily be addressed) Jackson doesn't quite fit either of those categories.

I listened to multiple dipshit Iowa media guys trip over themselves this week rolling their eyes about playing Jackson and acting like he had to take carries at RB to make that happen. Not a single one could even fathom getting him on the field in a unique way and that dork Elliot Clough said "absolutely not" to playing him in the slot.

Retards. I don't give a fuck if that was against UNI, he is clearly a home run hitter if you can somehow get him in space. Iowa so rarely gets players like that, and when you finally get them you need to find any way to get them 3-5 touches per game. He can be your Wetjen or what Lester was desperately trying to do with TJ Washington. Come up with a package of plays and get him the ball once per quarter and give him a shot to do something only himself and maybe 2 other guys on the team are capable of.

Tony Diaz, DJV, Jackson and maybe Evan James are the only guys remotely capable of getting about an inch of space and turning it into a 50 yard gain or a touchdown. Get them the fucking ball any way possible.

"Oh no, he might take carries from Xavier Williams!!"

Fuck off.

This is exactly the kind of game Jackson should play in a decent amount. Long drives aren’t likely against either defense. Whoever can generate 3-4 big ones wins

Elliot Clough has to be the most irritating nerd on the Iowa beat, which puts him in the running for most irritating nerd extant on the planet.

My mind is similar to Doug’s on the topic, but Kirk isn’t going to give Jackson much run in this one. He’ll return kickoffs which will all be unreturnable. Maybe a desperation touch or two if we get down more than a score and are completely stagnant on offense.

@Monster do you care to weigh in on the expectations everyone seems to be heaping on young Braeden?

Every single Iowa team that has been truly good has 2-3 guys that can break plays and get you easy scores.
