There were times when things looked bleak, and even in the recent losing streak there were some that were fearful with a loss today that we would be left out on Selection Sunday. Today effectively eliminates any doubt (whether realistic or not). It took one season of Coach McCollum to bring us back into the dance and on the backs of a team of mostly DII and non-power 5 recruits.

That second half today was so fun to watch. Cooper Koch has heated up at exactly the right time and will be huge for us in this next stretch. Combs and Manyawu have been much better lately. Things seem to be shaping up for us to be a tough out.

It cannot be overstated how much better CBB is when the Iowa Men’s team is in the fold in March. We are going to have some fun over the next few weeks.

Mulvey was awesome for Siena yesterday with 11 points and 11 rebounds and going dancing. Happy for that kid, super positive and actually knew how to play. His body just didn't develop until late.
