He was very fun to watch at times but also completely quit in some big games and you pretty much always got the feeling he was a douche. Overall a good reminder of how juvenile and stupid the mentality of hero worshipping players as a grown adult really is.

I’m setting up a podcast where we discuss how to use all the money from our hobby (finance) to ruin college sports even more.
But first a quick break to tell you about Draft Kings and how YOU can get a risk free $100 bet by signing up today!

The stretch that killed Franball for the fans

Beyond that, how are so many other college athletes (nearly all of them) able to move into the next phase of life without a giant look-at-me post?

Likely the same reason he was punched in the face.

Quite the LOOK AT ME post to say he’s going pro in something other than sports.

Who knew that God is a recruiter for Primerica. Seems kind of unfair that God uses his omnipresence to gets all those Primerica commissions.

I don’t know that someone who has a basketball username has ever had such little knowledge of basketball. It’d be like if I didn’t know who killed Apollo Creed.

In the little bit I’ve watched WV this year, Joe T did not impress me at all

Of course I'd take Touissaint over Bowen in a heartbeat, but I don't know about lock - he doesn't really help where this team is at its worst. I'd take rebounding and 3P% 100x over a better ball handler at this point.

He’s been great when I’ve watched him. Much more under control.
His assist rate is slightly down from where it was at Iowa, but his turnover rate is down more. He's definitely playing more under control. Still not a shooter, but he does get to the line a lot.

Definitely needs to get those block numbers up before I’d consider him.

2 of these 5 aren't even bad defenders by a long shot, especially in college.

I think you might be a fucking idiot, Jim.
Lol really? Which two? Theyre all objectively horrendous by any objective measure

Imagine thinking that Fartman is the worst defensive SG in the Fran era. Holy shit.

Freshman and sophomore Garza were a couple of the worst defenders I had ever seen but he improved a ton and doesn't belong on that list.

Ok hot shot who was? Fartman is stronger than he looks but is incredibly slow footed.

Agree to disagree. Who would you put here?

I hope we can all at least agree on Krikke.

Hey Jim, if you can't spot the sucker at the table within 30 seconds of sitting down.... you are the sucker.

CJ Fredrick and Brady Ellingson were SGs who immediately come to mind as terrible defenders. Both were athletically limited, unswitchable, low/mid effort guys who couldn't even help rebound.
