It's a tough match-up. Outside of the obvious that Purdue is really good, Krikke isn't much of a defender, and Freeman sometimes grabs and falls into foul trouble. Gotta have about three guys get hot. Hopefully Edey gets into foul trouble, but he hasn't fouled out of a game this year, and infrequently even gets four.

Yeah, I don't care about the lack of timeouts (calling a timeout to stop a run is overstated), but he needed to get Bowen or Harding, or both, out sooner.

There was a timeout in the floor at 21-18. Edey went out of the game and Purdue extended the lead from 3 to 13.

The game was basically a stalemate the rest of the way. I get your starters can’t play 40 minutes, but that was bad by Fran.

Most of the time I think Edey gets kinda fucked by officials, but man, Purdue gets away with a shit ton under the basket. They run multiple cutters along the baseline that will run right into the guy guarding Edey. It’s not even a screen, it’s more like a pick play by a wide receiver where they intentionally run into the defender and try to make it look like the defender initiated the contact. It of course knocks the defender off just enough to make the entry pass to Edey easier.

Anderson isn't great. Tries to insert himself too much into the game. Freeman's 2nd foul was called by Anderson as the trail, while he was nearly at half court. There was LITERALLY no contact.
