Let me stop you here and say, no.Are their fans aware that Campbell really sucks at some important aspects of football. He’s elevated them, but only because they are a historically bad program. But this is it, they can push to 9 wins once every 4ish years. Push to 4ish every four. The rest in the 7ish range.
The only people confused at the end were Campbell and the announcers. When they got the first down I went searching for the I Love It gif.The dignified thing to do would have been to sit on the timeout after Tech got the first down, quietly acknowledging they understood what their decisions had cost them. But then they called the timeout as if it would have some benefit, and looked even more stupid on top of it all. Fucking beautiful.
This is not exclusive to this game, it is a distinct Big XII thing. I think it is running everything out of the shotgun that makes them inept when it comes to kneeling a game out.I am at a loss for what the strategy was there. Even Texas Tech was confused, they didn’t realize they just needed to take a knee.
He punted…then didn’t use his lone timeout until there was no reason to use it.
The FS1 wide shots / stadium shots were kept to a minimumLOL that Iowa State is playing at home with bowl eligibility on the line and Chris fucking Williams doesn't even bother to drive 15 minutes and show up at the game.
What an entire group of fucking losers.
I mean, how could you not? He's clearly in the basement or whatever at his house.I love that Doug knows Chris Williams location

It’s a game that even given the circumstances surrounding a frustrating season, Iowa State should still win. It’s going to be freezing cold on Saturday night in Ames and personally, I prefer the team with the elite defense, which is Iowa State. Feels a lot like the West Virginia game a few weeks ago. I do have a healthy amount of respect for this next Texas Tech coaching staff and do not believe that the Red Raiders will roll over at any point in this one though.

Give me this Iowa State defense in freezing cold temperatures any day of the week and twice on Sundays. I’m not sure what we will get from Iowa State’s offense. I’m not sure how much it will matter. This feels like a statement game opportunity for Jon Heacock and Co.

This game could see a lot of dropped passes. It might see a plenty of rushing yards – or attempts might be a better word. It could be a beautifully ugly college football game. I think you trust the Iowa State defense. You look at the weather and just hope you’re not kicking into the wind. Iowa State wins a close, low scoring and eventful game.

It’s gonna be 10° outside with snow on the ground in a game between 1) an offense who’s shown it hasn’t been able to run the ball and 2) an offense from Texas going against the best defense in the conference. This one is LOW scoring. Cyclones get a win in a zany, fun one that we’ll be talking about for a while.

Special teams and turnovers again. That is the margin here. Playing a tough defense in adverse conditions can be disheartening. Instead of holding up, I think the defense goes out and wins a game. The offense squeaks in a little progress and the Raiders go home to work on a win next week.
Can't wait until next week's picks, lol.Another 0-5
