I actually think other teams in the Big Ten are loving it as well. McCollum thinks he's working and wearing them down by using all 30 seconds of the clock, but Iowa never really enters the lane or threatens to score, so really it ends up being an extended break for everyone not on Stirtz.

Right, the problem is that we have a mostly mid major roster but are playing in The Big Ten. Ben is going to need to recruit better in order to be a great coach at iowa

I'm not, that is the reality. Pass up a good shot for a great shot and burn to as much of the 30 second clock as possible, but Iowa is never really attacking the rim, so it's easy to guard for Big Ten teams.

Sandfart was rendered completely ineffective in the half court and made himself incredibly easy to guard. Only times he scored were in bounds situations drawn up for him, a few free throws and one scramble situation where the defense lost him. Good. Fuck him.

The way Iowa defended Nebraskas back cuts was so damn good. It got them completely out of sorts on offense. Stirtz just denied every pass to Sandfort they wanted to throw to the point they became reliant on Hoiberg to make a play.

The offense by Iowa was terrible but I’ll also give Nebrantska some credit. The way they doubled Stirtz and pushed Iowa back was very effective. Would help if Iowa would just shoot the ball. Specifically Koch.
