That is the opening line. I think the Hawks cover. This is a better matchup than UNI.

It's been nearly 9 years since Iowa won at Hilton (the '03 NIT game). Far better Iowa teams than this one have gone in there and gotten smacked by double digits. Tomorrow will be no different.

ISU by 15.

it will be closer to 20 i think. they have shooters and wont need a PG to set them up against our D. that and white will dominate bromarchcababe.

White could easily dominate and he could easily pick up a couple offensive fouls quickly. He likes to drive to the hoop and often relies on a quick first step. Hawks just need someone courageous enough to step in front.

In the end, ISU wins since Allen finally makes some shots.

Lets be honest, the refs are going to favor ISU, the game is going to be ugly.

Are the refs used to ISU's style of play? Its likely the Hawks have never seen it before.

Just have to hope that the ref's are not biased towards Iowa State's style of play.

ISU wilts in the face of adversity. Fortunately for them, they are unlikely to encounter any tonight, and it could therefore get a tad ugly. But the Hawks' effort v. UNI gives me some hope. They were in that game.

I am just afraid that if ISU gets a bit of a lead and some confidence, their little transfer-trove of playas will play.

wait a second...are you seriously suggesting that the refs on tuesday were NOT familiar with UNI and looking for certain calls?

just like you can feel the "LOOK AT ME I'M THE REF!!" charge call or quick tie-up call coming during a a big run.

Yes, but there aren't many of them. Most of the strip bars are gone.
