I just looked up Octavius. I know we give ISU ton's of shit for their AV department, but they actually did a pretty good job here photoshopping all those people in the stands.

He would never go to Iowa, as epic as that would be. I would think more along the lines of Notre Dame or Stanford. Only Iowa scenario would be out of spite or something.

Although WR is a position of need at Iowa I have never fully understood all the fuss over the guy. Granted the majority of the love for him is based with Iowa State fans. He is a nice player but he's not showing up on any AA teams or even first team all conference teams. Maybe he makes all conference this year, maybe not. Maybe Arkansas will be feverishly calling him if he bails on Iowa State.

He would be better with a competent QB. He reminds me of a Kelvin Benjamin type guy. Big physical WR, with decent hands and average speed, but not overly quick. In the right setting he could be a monster.

There's no way this is true, but would be hilarious if it happened.

He's been underutilized at ISU primarily because they haven't had a QB who could throw the ball more than 20 yards downfield.

He's a good WR that has played with horrible QBs. He'd be damn good paired with CJ.

That wouldn't help his stats. CJ is a downgrade from Lanning and Richardson

I feel sorry for him. Seems like a decent kid. Can you imagine his interview on senior day, "Adam, of your 9 wins during your career at Iowa State, which one is most memorable?

Someone should advise him to graduate and transfer. I don't know if transferring to Iowa would be ideal for him, Iowa will probably start Stanley next year and could be some growing pains. Should go to a school with a upper-class QB, that being said he is kind of slow. If he can run good routes and appears he has decent hands he has a good chance in the NFL.

Iowa State is just a bad football school, you can have a year or two run - that's about it. Ran Dan Mac out too early, and any coach that has a decent run will get the hell out. Matt Campbell has back to back 7-5's he's attempting to leave.

Iowa State was guilty of the same crime against Mac that Iowa committed against Tom Davis; both got them too close to the next level of glory and both fanbases thought their programs were better than they really were. Relatively speaking, of course.

There was also the fact that you had a new AD who wanted to make a splash hire for the football program.

He should transfer to Iowa and catch the game winning TD pass from Stanley in Ames next year

I mean, I prefer he had 3 TDs and 200 yards but the game winner would just really burn

Said game winning TD will put Iowa up 7-0 with 12:32 left in the 1st quarter en route to a 49-2 win.

If Iowa State had to play at Iowa next year? This might have a .000001% chance of happening, but he isn't going to play at Iowa State after transferring to Iowa.

He wouldn't have to either as almost any program would take him.

Lol at the idea that he would tell anyone he's considering Iowa.

C'mon.

Yep. Near criminal in both cases, but probably worse with Danny Mac. McCarney would have stayed until retirement, and provided at least 50% more wins than any of their experiments.

No way we would allow the WR of that calibur on the roster, make the rest of our below average receivers look bad.
