Fernando only commits 3.4 fouls per 40 in conference but we have to attack him and try to get him in trouble. He's a monster. Cowan hasn't been an efficient scorer but he's a good creator and draws a lot of fouls. Wiggins and Ayala are 45% and 42% from 3 on 218 total attempts and 109 in 15 Big Ten games.

Last 5 Big Ten games away from home they've been much worse on offense though. Under 1 PPP in each. Defense took a solid step back also. They thumped Rutgers, Minnesota and Ohio State on the road early in the year and lost by only 2 at Purdue. Big road/home split the last month though.

That's just cause we're not an elite program. Games that let you "crawl into elite" status mean you're playing a big team on a big stage. 95% of teams in the country have a bad record in situations like that. The only time Iowa is going to have a consistent shot at that is if it's early in the season and the preseason rankings were wrong.
