Maryland also hit 3 or 4 shots as the shot clock was at 1. Now if a couple of the close outs would have been a little better maybe they don’t have an easy rhythm jumper.

But Maryland answered with a 3 almost every time Iowa got it to 5 or 6 until the last 4 minutes.

If Iowa continues to play defense like that they’ll be really tough down the stretch. The offense has been pretty meh since the first half of the Indiana game. They’re due to have a big game. bohannon, Garza and Wieskamp combined to go 3-23. Indiana is going to get pounded in the ass.

Who runs set plays at the end of games? You might go with a ball screen to get a switch and mismatch but it is still someone creating on their own. It's a personnel issue.

Maryland had 3 guys standing around jerking each other off after they made the put back. Baer called the timeout. Iowa should have thrown it in and advanced it to their end then called it. Might have had 4-5 seconds and been able to run a set out of bounds play.

Now, expecting players to think of that in that situation in a split second isn’t fair.

The blame goes to the first half and only scoring 23 points. Missed free throws, a missed layup/dunk thingy by Kriener, and some really odd turnovers.

Why does it pain you? It's the smart thing to do. Dailey is by far the best option. He's pretty quick laterally and has length. It happens all the time at the end of halves. There will be only one defensive possession left and Fran will leave bohannon and/or Garza of the floor. He's just a dumbfuck sometimes.

Having bohannon on the floor wasn’t that dumb. Having him guard Cowan in man was (although he did a great job on him early). A little surprised they didn’t go zone there to try and take away the drive. Of course then you would have to deal with rebounding over Fernando in a zone.

I haven't posted in like 5 years, but need to tell you how big of a dumb fuck you are for that comment. Fran draws up fantastic out of bounds plays and has since the second he got here.
