I don’t think Eickholt or Bock are totally plugged in here either. They’ve been talking about Getsy for a few days and that made no sense at all.

I think 24/7 has been more plugged in here than anyone else. That’s not necessarily saying a lot but it’s been reported KF was having two interviews this week. Not crazy to think that Getsy interviewed earlier in the week and one party (or both) decided the fit wasn’t there. It also checks out with their reporting that KF was waiting on interviewing someone on the GB staff.

Hopefully the Lester stuff isn’t true. But it’s pretty concerning that 100 days after firing Brian we apparently interviewed a guy that hasn’t been an OC in almost a decade, was objectively bad it when he was one, and might be heading to Troy if Kirk doesn’t bail him out with a million dollar job in one of top 25 football programs in the country.
