I watched the Washington game yesterday and Grubb's QB was completely out of control.

He should've thrown 3 INTs at the end of the game while the game was tied and they were already in FG range.

Just horrible passes for no reason. Penix sucks.

It was incredibly bad. Why the fuck were they even passing there at the end? The last pass that nearly got picked was a horrendous play call. You have to run the ball there.

Didn't he have a billion interceptions against Iowa? I don't watch Indiana football so I'll assume that was indicative of his skill. Sort of like Mertz going to Florida. I'm going to assume that most guys that showed flaws at their old schools are going to show it at their new ones, despite how much they command on the NIL market. 99 times out of 100 it's foolish to think otherwise. Except for Cade McNamara...

I thought it was pretty obvious they were being aggressive and trying to get the ball in the end zone and felt passing was best way to do so. The kicker had missed 3 of his last 4 kicks. There was no confidence there.

But he makes the game winning FG and somewhat ironically was awarded a scholarship in the locker room after the game.

I wonder what Grubb or a similar outsider would want, and what Iowa would offer, in terms of succession opportunities.

I guarantee you that KF watched that game and immediately crossed him off the list or at the very least wrote, "retard?" next to his name.

I agree. It would at least evidence some change in Kirk’s philosophy regarding the offense and how to run it. Budamyr would not.

Chryst and the gift from Heaven will be reunited.

Copeland will move on and Buttmayor will be the new WR coach.

Well we hired a center to coach qbs. I'm guessing a kicker or long snapper is next to coach the qbs

This young man is a football analyst for the Hawkeyes, which I'm sure everyone else already knew.

Keller is the son of longtime NFL coach, Geep Chryst, and the nephew of former Wisconsin head coach, Paul Chryst.

I have questions regarding Gift from the Heavens’ ability to connect with and attract the type of WRs I most enjoy watching.

I posted this about a month ago, and think it makes sense.

Chryst was, and likely still is, a fantastic OC. He was just a mediocre head coach because he has the public personality of a wet fart. Phil Parker also has the public personality of a wet fart and likely why he has never taken a head coach job. Some guys are just better where they are and not everyone is meant to be the #1 guy.

If you put Kirk Ferentz together with Chryst at OC and Parker at DC, it's our ultimate wet dream.

No one is bitching about Grubb. People are skeptical that Iowa under KF are going to be able to recruit the level of WR talent necessary for that to look good. I would think Grubb would make us instantly better offensively regardless.

Chryst as OC of Wisconsin.....

10-3
12-1
9-4
7-6
10-3
11-2
11-3

70-22 and his RB's ran for a billion yards and they shoved their giant cheese cocks up everyone's ass. They were a terror in that stretch ranked 6 of 7 seasons with a Top 5 and Top 7 finish.

Make no mistake, Iowa has a lack of talent problem at WR, but I do not think it is as severe as Iowa's offense makes it seem.

They ask a lot out of the line also, everything takes so long to develop.

Sure, but the payoff is big. Often times it takes that long to develop a 25 yard pass that's 4 feet beyond the line of scrimmage.

You could say the same thing with BF as OC of Iowa. W/L has too many other factors to be useful. Offensive stats are way more relevant to the discussion.

Lol. Did you read beyond just the record part where I pointed out Wisconsin RB's ran for about a billion yards? Are you not aware of the Wisconsin offense those years? I think one of the years they scored 70+ 4 times.

Why would Chryst turn down Northwestern HC to come to Iowa as a coordinator?
